Climate change and Environment-friendly policy have been important issues for a long time. In the shipping industry, the maritime emission control regulations are also being reinforced by International Maritime Organization. In this session, the directions of environment-friendly policies, especially focusing on the introduction of LNG-fuelled container ships and LNG bunkering, by port authorities, shipping lines and shipbuilding companies will be discussed.
